ABOUT HOPE_FOREMAN

Human Oriented Planning and Execution For Efficient Manufacturing

CONCEPT

HOPE_FOREMAN brings radical, human-centric revolution to production planning and execution of contract, lot size one metal fabrication.

We will develop two new components , integrate them with four existing components of the SHOP4CF framework (three from the original framework and one developed in a previous experiment) to deliver a complete human-centric planning and execution system enhancing workers’ job satisfaction and working conditions as well as improving the company’s production efficiency by:

Planning and assigning tasks according to individual preferences, skills and assignments history of workers

Taking into account regulations and best practices to ensure healthy working environment
Delegating undesirable tasks to automated agents if possible
Providing targeted instructions to workers depending on their experience and performance
Increasing the Overall Equipment Effectiveness by optimized production planning
